No, Weeds was not Mary Kate Olsen's last acting role.
She appeared in a few other projects after her guest role as Tara Lindman in four episodes of Weeds in 2007.
Her final acting project was the movie Beastly, released in 2011. She also had a guest appearance in the TV series Samantha Who? in 2008 and a role in the movie
The Wackness in 2008.

Weeds Cancelled After Season 8
It's official- Showtime is canceling Weeds after Season Eight, which will premiere on July 1.
The news first broke on Entertainment Weekly, who spoke directly with Showtime entertainment president David Nevins. He has promised Weeds fans an ending they will remember and enjoy--considering how many fantastic shows end terribly, or simply in confusing ways (Sopranos? Lost? I'm still freaking out about those two!)
So enjoy Season Eight, because that's all, folks.

New Season 8 Video
Showtime has released a new Season Eight teaser--we don't see any of what happens in the new season yet (but we will when it airs in July!)
However, we do see all of the bad things that sexy drug-pushing mom Nancy Botwin has been up to over the course of the show, which hints at all the people who might want her dead. Who shot her? And was she even the one who got shot in Do Her/Don't Do Her? Vote on our poll below the video!

Season 7 So far..
Well just wanted to share the fact that I just love Weeds its my favorite show and now that season7 is airing its nerve racking to have to wait till next week for the next episode. But so far im liking it alot. Was wondering how other people felt about the season so far.

Guess who's going to join Weeds this season? Michelle Trachtenberg of Gossip Girl! This haughty baddie will continue her villainous streak and play a hashish-dealing rival to Nancy Botwin. She'll also be the love interest of Silas! That should be interesting...

Weeds creator gives us spoilers
Weeds creator Jenji Kohan has talked to Entertainment Weekly about season 7, which is about to premiere on Monday, giving us some spoilers on the upcoming episodes. If you don't want to know anything about what's coming, don't read any further!
As you probably know, the season will start with Nancy coming out of prison after three years. Here's what Kohan has to say about this decision:
- It was a huge decision. It was a huge decision for us because we usually start the next minute [after the season ends] and everyone yells at us because Shane’s grown 8 inches and it’s technically only two hours later. But this year, it was really a matter of “Do we want to do prison?” Did we want to go into the minutiae of her talking about Esteban’s business…
